Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with watches for a while now, and I’ve always wanted a Rolex Submariner. You know, the classic one, no date, all black. But man, those things are crazy expensive! So, I started looking into other options, and that’s when I stumbled upon this whole world of, uh, “high imitation” watches.
I did a bit of digging, you know, trying to figure out what’s what. I found out that the original Rolex released ref. 114060 in 2012. That’s the one everyone’s after. And these “high imitation” guys, they’re trying to copy that exact model.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first. I mean, how good could a fake Rolex really be? But I kept reading, and people were saying some of these replicas are actually pretty darn close to the real thing. So, I decided to take the plunge and order one. I went with the “original order” option, ’cause I figured that was the closest to the original. I did order it.
It took a few weeks to arrive, and when I finally got it, I was pretty blown away. Seriously, this thing looks just like the pictures of the real Submariner I’d been drooling over. The weight, the feel, the way the bezel clicks – it’s all there.
What I did to check it out
- Checked the weight: First thing I did was feel the weight of it. It felt solid, just like the real deal.
- Looked at the details: Then I started looking at all the little details. The crown logo, the markings on the dial, the way the hands move – everything looked spot on.
- Tested the bezel: The bezel is a big deal on these watches. It’s supposed to rotate smoothly and click into place. This one did it perfectly. I tried it again and again.
I’m not trying to fool anyone into thinking this is a real Rolex, but I gotta say, for the price, it’s a pretty impressive watch. It’s got that classic Submariner look I love, and it feels great on my wrist. I’ve been wearing it for a few days now, and I’m really happy with it.
I know some people will say, “You should have just saved up for the real thing,” but honestly, I don’t think I could ever justify spending that much money on a watch. This way, I get the look I want without breaking the bank. So yeah, that’s my story. I took a chance on a high imitation Rolex Submariner, and I’m glad I did. It finally made me get it.
