Alright, so, I’ve been eyeing this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope for a while now. You know, I’m a sucker for those classic styles, and this one, it just called to me.

First off, I started looking around online. Man, there are tons of these Speedmaster things out there. Different types, different prices, it was a lot to take in, you know? But I was set on this Chronoscope.

I dug into it a bit more. Learned about the name, “Chronoscope.” Apparently, it’s from some old Greek words, “chronos” for time and “scope” for, well, looking at stuff, I guess. Seems fitting for a watch, huh?

Then I started looking for a good spot to buy it. A lot of websites talk about the original order. I spent a whole afternoon just reading about it. I was trying to figure out where the best place to get one of these is. It is not easy at all.

Then I really get into the history of this watch. Like, did you know the first Speedmaster came out in, like, 1957? They called it CK2915, had some 321 caliber thing. Then in ’59, they dropped the 2998 with a black bezel and Alpha hands. It’s kinda cool to know all that stuff, makes you appreciate the watch more, I think.

Also, I learned about the size. It’s 43mm across, but the lug-to-lug is 48mm, and it’s 12.8mm thick. Sounds kinda big, but folks say it wears pretty well on your wrist, no matter what size your wrist is. I have a small wrist and I can tell it fits my wrist perfectly.

And get this, people are saying these Speedmasters can be a good investment, especially the old ones or the special limited editions. Who knew, right? Maybe I’ll make some money off this thing someday, haha!

I finally pulled the trigger and got one. Let me tell you, it looks even better in person. The details, the way it feels on my wrist, it’s just… solid. I can see why people like these things so much.

So, yeah, that’s my story about getting this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope. It was a bit of a journey, learning about it, finding it, and all that. But I’m happy I did it. This watch, it’s something special. I’m glad I finally got my hands on it.

  • 1957: I found out OMEGA put out the first Speedmaster, the CK2915 with the 321 thing.
  • 1959: Then came the 2998 with a black bezel and different hands.

Size Check

  • Diameter: It’s 43mm wide.
  • Lug-to-Lug: 48mm, which matters for how it sits on your wrist.
  • Thickness: 12.8mm thick. Not too chunky, not too thin.

Hope you guys enjoy my sharing. It’s not easy to get one of these and hope my experience can help you guys to make a wise decision.
